Automated Daily / Weekly Progress Photo Distribution

Very CommonHigh confidenceReplacement role30 evidence

Description

the evidence system's Snapmail feature automatically captures scheduled progress photos from site cameras and distributes them to a configured distribution list — replacing the manual process of a site operative photographing the site and emailing stakeholders.

Trigger

A scheduled time interval arrives (e.g., daily at 07:00, or weekly on Monday morning) as configured in the evidence system's Snapmail settings.

Activity

Automatically capturing a site progress photograph at a configured interval and distributing it to a defined list of stakeholders without any manual effort from site staff.

Conclusion

Stakeholders receive a timestamped progress photo in their inbox at the agreed cadence for the duration of the project.

Role detail

the evidence system's Snapmail feature automatically captures scheduled progress photos from site cameras and distributes them to a configured distribution list — replacing the manual process of a site operative photographing the site and emailing stakeholders.

Steps (10)

  1. 1Project set up in the evidence system and cameras installed and positioned to capture meaningful progress views.
  2. 2Project manager or the evidence system administrator configures Snapmail — selecting cameras, defining the capture schedule (daily, weekly, or custom), and setting the time of capture.
  3. 3Distribution list assembled — typically including the client/owner, senior management, PM, remote stakeholders, and any other parties requiring regular site visibility.
  4. 4Snapmail configuration saved and activated; the system begins running autonomously.
  5. 5At each scheduled interval, the evidence system automatically captures a still image from the configured camera(s) with a timestamp.
  6. 6Image automatically packaged into an email and delivered to all recipients on the distribution list.
  7. 7Recipients view the image in their inbox — no login or platform access required.
  8. 8Recipients who wish to view more detail may click through to the live the evidence system platform if they have access credentials.
  9. 9Image retained in the the evidence system archive, forming a chronological photographic record of site progress.
  10. 10At project close-out, the archive of scheduled images constitutes a complete, timestamped photographic history of the build.

Evidence (3)

  • Snapmail configured to deliver daily site images to a client distribution list, explicitly replacing the previous manual photo-and-email process performed by the site foreman.

  • Client extended their the evidence system subscription specifically because the weekly Snapmail to the owner's representative had become an expected deliverable under the project protocol.

    Anonymized evidence record 11.2

  • Project manager noted that Snapmail had replaced the requirement for a dedicated site photographer previously budgeted into the project cost plan.

ROI model — Template B

Evercam eliminates manual effort for recurring content production (progress photos, time-lapse, marketing videos). The baseline cost is the manual time per deliverable × frequency.

saving = manual_hours_per_deliverable × deliverables_per_month × project_duration_months × hourly_rate × evercam_reduction_pct

Notes

This is the evidence system's most widely deployed workflow and the most common entry point for new customers. Prior to the evidence system, site managers manually took and emailed photos — an activity that was inconsistently performed and dependent on individual diligence.
